Top 5 Accomplishments of 2012
- Graduated from College with a BME
- Sang mass at the main altar in the Vatican (and in San Marco for that matter!)
- Spent 12 days in Italy/Austria and paid for it by myself
- Successful completion of student teaching: Discovered teaching music (especially in the choral context) really is my passion
- Conducted my first concert consisting of 9 choral pieces
And for the record, even though I count these as my accomplishments, I could not have done it without the love, support and belief of many incredible people in my corner. I am so lucky to have such amazing people in my life.
And just for good measure...

- Move out of Idaho

- My calves are sore...that means they are getting stronger!
- My paper topic for Choral Methods: Integrating Special-Needs Students into a Choral Classroom...should be super interesting to research
- My Italy-Fund just surpassed $900!
- The amazing things I have learned about myself, relationships and the nature of people in the last few months. It's been one of those times in my life where I know that everything is changing but it's making me grow as a person, so it's worth it. I finally feel like I'm in a place where I can really learn how to be happy, no matter the circumstances.
- I've kept up on the laundry this semester! Next step: Make sure that laundry gets put away, back in the closet where it belongs!
